Booking and Pricing
Q: What is the price of booking the campervan?
A: The rental price is $150 per night. For example – Pick up Monday, return Thursday = $450. A cleaning fee of $50 per rental applies
Q: What is included in the rental price?
A: The rental price includes the campervan, basic insurance, 24/7 roadside assistance, and a full tank of fuel at pick-up. All items like kitchenware, bedding, and basic camping equipment all come with the van. (See the inventory list here!)
Q: How do I make a reservation?
A: You can make a reservation by sending us an email and including your preferred dates. If we have availability, we’ll finalize the dates and details through email.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, Cash, or Check. Details will be given after a reservation is secured.
Q: Is a security deposit required?
A: Yes, a security deposit check of $500 is required at the time of pick-up. The amount varies depending on the campervan model and rental duration. The deposit is fully refundable upon the safe return of the vehicle.
Q: Are there additional fees?
A: Additional fees may apply for:
- Optional equipment rentals. (See inventory for list of available rental items)
- Excessive late next day returns
- Additional non-routine cleaning fees if the van is not returned in a decent condition
- Repair fees if damage is done (i.e. accident, scratches, or regular gasoline in the diesel fuel tank)
Pick-Up and Drop-Off
Q: What do I need to bring when picking up the campervan?
A: Please bring your driver’s license, and a check for the security deposit.
Q: Can I pick up or drop off the campervan outside of business hours?
A: Yes – please arrange pickup and estimated drop-off times during the reservation process. We will work with you to be flexible.
Vehicle Use
Q: Are pets allowed in the camper van?
A: Yes, well-behaved pets are allowed in the van with no additional cleaning fee (for reasonable cleanup). The fan ventilation along with window coverings can keep the van comfortable for pets on warm days.
Q: Are there any travel restrictions?
A: The van can be driven within the contiguous United States. Travel to Mexico and Canada is not permitted.
Q: Where am I allowed to take the campervan?
A: The campervan is 2WD and is not recommended for areas that require 4WD or high clearance. This includes driving on sandy beaches, snow, or excessively muddy non-pavement roads. However, driving on Forest Service roads and dirt roads is permitted when done cautiously.
Q: What are the recommended places to take the campervan?
A: We recommend county, state, and national parks, along with easily accessible dispersed camping areas. Other camping spots like KOA or RV parks will also accommodate the van.
Q: Is there a mileage limit?
A: Our rental includes a mileage limit average of 250 miles per night rented. Overage charges are $0.35 per mile. For example, if you rent for 3 nights, 750 miles would be included in your round trip. If the trip is 1000 miles, additional fees would be $87.50
Q: Are there any age restrictions for renting a campervan?
A: Yes, renters must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of two years.
Q: What is the fuel policy?
A: This is a diesel van. Please only use diesel fuel – otherwise serious damage will occur The van will be provided with a full tank of diesel fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If not, a refueling fee will be charged.
Insurance Coverage and Emergencies
Q: What insurance is included in the rental?
A: Drivers are covered under our insurance, and this basic insurance is included with the price of the rental. Our insurance provides state minimum liability coverage, comprehensive, and collision coverage of up to $200,000, which covers third-party liability and damage to the campervan with a deductible.
Q: What should I do in case of an accident or breakdown?
A: In case of an accident, contact local authorities if serious injuries, and Emergency Road Service Coverage through State Farm. Contact us at 408 348-0088 to work with insurance.
Cancellation, Changes, and Other Policies
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Please allow up to 48 hours for a cancellation, otherwise a 10% fee will apply.
Q: Can I modify my reservation after it has been made?
A: Yes, modifications can be made based on availability. Please contact us as soon as possible to make changes.

Q: What if I return the campervan late?
